Passenger car sales slip for third consecutive month in January: Siam

Domestic car sales slipped for the third consecutive month in January, despite huge discounts offered by manufacturers, fresh stats released by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (Siam) revealed. According to Siam, passenger car sales slipped a whopping 12.45 per cent, from 1, 98,079 units in January 2012 to 1, 73,420 units in January this year.
