Bharati Airtel Asked to Stop 3G Services in Seven Circles

Bharti Airtel has been asked to give a fine of 3.50 billion rupees for infringing telecom-license rules along with preclusion of 3G services in seven circles of India. As the company appears to break laws and does not hold the 3G bandwidth, Bharti Airtel Ltd. has been asked by India’s Department to stop providing third-generation services in seven service areas. With the notice, Bharti Airtel has three days to completely stop 3G services in the seven areas like Haryana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh (East), Kolkata, Gujarat and Kerala. read more
