CERC cancels Sasan’s power project commissioning

The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission has said that it is cancelling the commissioning date of the Sasan Power Ltd’s ultra-mega power project accusing the company of violating norms. The CERC said that the Sasan Power, which is a part of the Anil Ambani group, has flouted norms and thus the power project cannot be commissioned.
